Major Tenant Relocates to Downtown
(Oklahoma City) Wiggin Properties and Price Edwards recently negotiated and finalized the terms of a long-term lease deal that will take a major oil and gas firm into the downtown
Oklahoma City
office market.
Simons Petroleum, Inc., headed by President Roger Simons, will be relocating from the Glenbrook Center East building at
1140 NW 63rd Street
into 2 floors at
Oklahoma
Tower
located at
210 Park Avenue
in downtown
Oklahoma City
. The long-term lease provides the petroleum company with more than 36,000 square feet of office space.
Simons is considered one of the nation’s leading independent marketers of petroleum products, focused on providing comprehensive fuel and lubricant offerings to commercial and industrial partners and related industry services such as hedging and financial management tools, proprietary fuel management applications, and petroleum engineering and testing services.
The relocation of the company and its 130 employees into downtown will be a major boost for the downtown market, which is quickly becoming an attractive alternative for many companies due to dwindling available space in the suburbs.
David Huffman with Wiggin Properties represented Simons Petroleum in the transaction and Craig Tucker with Price Edwards & Company represented the landlord.
